Ponga’s design is based on the cylindrical form of a Ponga tree trunk. Based on the floor lamp design, Ponga floats lightly in any interior setting, casting subtle, nature-inspired shadows on the surrounding walls and flooring. Ships between 2 - 4 weeks.

Ponga is the Māori term for the native New Zealand tree fern, more commonly known as 'Punga'. Ponga’s design is based on the cylindrical form of a Ponga tree trunk. Over time, these trunks tend to hollow out if the tree has sustained partial damage, allowing bacteria to cause a cavity to form.

Ponga is illuminated using a Halycon LED light, encorperated into the design using our unique Form 53 stainless steel mount.

Due to our bespoke mounting design, this allows the LED to be obscured from sight, resulting in the Ponga Pendants overall design to feature front and centre.

Featuring an array of sustainably grown bamboo plywood uprights, the end grain of the bamboo makes for a detailed feature if opting for the natural finish. As this design features dimmable LED lights, the shadows projected onto the surrounding walls and flooring replicate those found in nature.
